Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026
SwiftDrome is a music player for servers you run yourself. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The developer does not run a server for the app and receives no data from it.
What the app sends, and where
- Your music server. The address, username and password you enter are used to sign in to the Navidrome or Subsonic-compatible server you choose. Everything the app plays, browses or downloads comes from that server, and the app reports what you play back to it (play counts, now playing), which you can turn off in Settings. That server is run by you or by whoever gave you access, and its own privacy terms apply.
- Last.fm, only if you sign in. If you connect a Last.fm account, the app sends the songs you play to Last.fm on your behalf, using the API key you create. Last.fm's privacy policy applies to that data. Signing out stops it.
- People nearby, only during a Jam. Hosting or joining a Jam uses your local network and Bluetooth to find other phones. Song details, the queue and the name each person appears under are exchanged directly between the phones in that Jam and nowhere else.
- Siri, only if you use it. Requests you make to Siri are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. The app tells Siri which music it can play from your server.
What stays on your phone
Your library, cover art, cached and downloaded songs, settings and the in-app log are stored on your phone only. Passwords and the Last.fm session are kept in the iOS Keychain. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Crash reports and logs
When the app crashes or hangs, a report is written to the in-app log on your phone. Nothing is sent automatically. You can share the log yourself from Settings, and only then does it leave your phone, to whoever you choose to send it to.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.
Your rights
Because the developer receives no personal data from the app, there is nothing held about you to see, correct or delete. For data on your music server or Last.fm, contact whoever runs that service.
Changes
If the app starts handling data differently, this policy is updated first and the date at the top changes.
